Around Bornholm Update: “Imagine” First Ship Home
Holger Eckenbach's "Imagine" completed the approximately 270 nautical miles of the long-distance regatta Around Bornholm the fastest.
The TP52 boat crossed the finish line in Warnemünde on Wednesday night at 22:54 p.m. and 24 seconds. The time sailed is 1 day, 10 hours and 54 minutes. The crew of the “Imagine” was greeted on the water with a box of Rostocker Pils. A schnitzel meal awaited the sailors in the harbor.
The second boat back in Warnemünde is the “Halbtrocken 4.5” from Michael Berghorn, which crossed the finish line at 00:51 and 25 seconds.
