Olympic expertise on Warnemünder Woche
The Warnemünder Woche has made a great success in filling the vacant position of the overall race committee. Pinar Coşkuner Genç takes over the position and thus ensures that the Warnemünder Woche takes another big step towards the professionalization of the regatta week.

A good three weeks have passed since the 87th. Warnemünder Woche has come to a successful conclusion. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved, especially the volunteer crew and all partners and sponsors. Our video review summarizes the highlights of the event in beautiful images.
Flexible through wind and weather
The 87. Warnemünder Woche presented itself from July 5th to 13th as a sailing event with many faces. A start with plenty of sun and light winds was followed by champagne conditions by midweek, before heavy showers, high waves, and gale-force gusts took over. Finally, the weather switched to conciliation.
Winners from four nations at the sailing finale
Just in time for the final of the Warnemünder Woche The storm had passed, and despite a few showers, a fantastic sailing field spread out off the Mecklenburg coast for the four classes of the second weekend. Race organizers and athletes took advantage of the conditions for numerous races.
Riding on the razor's edge
The Zoom8, the Finn dinghies, and the RS Aero were sent to the race area east of the harbor for the start at 9 a.m. on Saturday. At least one race was sailed.
