Lacrosse tournament “LAX at the Beach”
The excitement is building and the teams are preparing for Germany's only beach lacrosse tournament: "LAX at the Beach" during WARNEMÜNDER WOCHE!
Players from all over Germany travel to Warnemünde to compete in their favorite sport and bring home the coveted tournament victory.
Teams of four players each meet on a sand field specially designed for the event. They fight for victory in the open air and accompanied by a refreshing Baltic Sea breeze. The sand between your toes gives you that special beach feeling.
Beach lacrosse differs from traditional indoor or field lacrosse in several aspects. There is no designated goalie, and the team that puts the small, hard rubber ball in the net the most times wins. The game is characterized by explosive moves, physical duels, and plenty of sandy fun, which delights players and spectators alike.
The tournament is expected to take place again in 2026 on the second weekend of the Warnemünder Woche Further information will follow as soon as the date is confirmed.
