The tension is rising and the teams are preparing for the only beach lacrosse tournament in Germany: “LAX at the Beach” during the Warnemünder Woche!
Players from all over Germany travel to Warnemünde to compete in their favorite sport and bring home the coveted tournament victory.
Teams of four players each meet on a sand field specially designed for the event. They fight for victory in the open air and accompanied by a refreshing Baltic Sea breeze. The sand between your toes gives you that special beach feeling.
Beach lacrosse differs from traditional indoor or field lacrosse in several aspects. There is no permanent goalkeeper, and the team that puts the small hard rubber ball into the net the most often leaves the pitch as the winner. The game is characterized by explosive moves, physical duels and lots of sandy fun, which delights players and spectators alike.
The tournament takes place on July 12th and 13th, 2025 instead.
