H-Boat World Championships Day 2: Full workload completed

With strong winds at times, all three planned races in the H-Boat World Championship were sailed today. There was no change at the top on day two of the World Championships. Eight-time world champion Claus Høj Jensen from Denmark continues to lead the field of 47 H-boats. The Danish crew around Anders Bertelsen follows closely behind, two points behind. The German champion Thomas Kausen (Berlin Yacht Club) continues to hold third position and is currently the best German. Lars Bähr (Tegeler Segel-Club) moved up from sixth to fourth place. In the evening, race director Lorenz Buchler was satisfied with the day's sailing, even if "the third race was a bit disappointing because the wind kept changing strongly." The first start of the H-boats is tomorrow at 11 a.m.
