The 28th Dragon Boat Festival was characterized by enthusiasm, sporting ambition, and team spirit on the water. Despite initially stormy conditions, 28 teams in two racing classes delivered thrilling races over distances of 100 and 280 meters, battling for every second and demonstrating impressive cohesion.

For two days, 40 teams battled for victory at the 30th Beach Handball Days in the Warnemünde Beach Arena, despite strong winds. The trophy went to a team from Rostock in both the women's and men's competitions. The women's team, "Rostocker Beach Club," dominated for the third time in a row.
