Review: Ballet in the Tütü, concert in the Schüttelbüx
It was a day full of dance, singing and music: the young people from the ARThus youth dance studio showed off their skills on the Kurhausgarten stage. Three musicians from Rügen thrilled the audience with music from different genres.
Swinging scarves, clattering tap shoes and jingling tambourines, as well as colorful costumes - participants of different age groups from the youth dance studio ARThus presented their dancing skills to the spectators in the Kurhausgarten yesterday. National and international folklore were part of the dance students' repertoire, as were ballet and tap dancing. For an hour, visitors experienced enthusiastic dance performances on the Kurhausgarten stage.
Dance was followed by music on the stage in the Kurhausgarten. “De Mönchguter Fischköpp” from the Baltic Sea island of Rügen captivated the large audience with North German and maritime songs, some of which encouraged people to join in. In original Mönchgut costumes, the three professional musicians with bass, guitar and accordion created a carefree, happy atmosphere. After the first concert in the group “Mr. Zunks Project”.
