Kurhaus garden
The first green spaces were created in what is now the spa park as early as 1860, but it was not until 1922 that it was converted into a leisure facility. In addition to use during the Warnemünder Woche, every year the Kurhausgarten also becomes a stage for, among others Concert series “Sea Breeze”.

Whether beach handball, lacrosse tournament or beach rugby - the arena not only makes the hearts of athletes beat faster, the spectators also get their money's worth.
Lighthouse forecourt
Probably the most famous landmark in Warnemünde, and probably all of Rostock, is the ensemble of lighthouse and tea pot at the eastern end of the promenade. The over 30 meter high tower, with the characteristic dome-shaped, green roof, was put into operation in 1898.
west pier
The west pier in Warnemünde, with the often photographed green pier light, takes you almost 550 meters out to the Baltic Sea. It is, so to speak, the little sister of the east pier with the red pier light, on which you can stroll about a kilometer out to sea in Hohe Düne.
Old train station bridge
It cannot be missed: the old train station bridge, which guides guests over the Alter Strom. From here you have a wonderful view over the promenade, captain's houses and fishing boats, especially in the evening hours. The bridge was once the pivot point of the path between the central pier and the town center, but today it is retired and only opens on special occasions.
Warnemünde Church
The Warnemünde Church has been located in the middle of the Baltic Sea resort for over 100 years. It is common for northern German churches located on the sea to accommodate maritime votive offerings. In the Warnemünde church you can find two votive ships that were once presented by the pilot commanders Davids and Jantzen.
Southern Old Stream
The Alte Strom is not only an arm of water, but has also developed into a lively and popular promenade over the course of Warnemünde's development into a seaside resort. With a view of the fishing boats and captains' houses, it's a great place to stroll, shop and feast.
