Result of the Mecklenburg spa regatta and daily results of the IDM of the 505 and the H-boat ranking regatta.

Result Mecklenburg spa regatta

Even before the 83rd. Warnemünder Woche was officially opened on land today at 14 p.m., the big ships crossed the starting line of the Mecklenburg Baths Regatta at 10 a.m. Divided into two starting groups, the ten yachts in the ORC and the Yardstick classification started on time.

A total of around 22 nautical miles lay ahead of the ships, once to Kühlungsborn and back to Warnemünde. The crew of the “Edelweiss” led by skipper Thomas Reinecke secured the fastest ship and thus the line honors with a sailed time of 3 hours and 57 minutes. According to the calculated time, the Farr 30 “Sputnik” from skipper Conrad Brinkmann won the ORC ranking. In the yardstick ranking, the “Bonito” under skipper Patrick Moll was ahead. It took her just over five hours to complete the journey.

The results from the Mecklenburg spa regatta will be published at the end of the year Warnemünder Woche with the result of Rund Bornholm (start: Monday, July 6th, 12 p.m.) and the Up & Down races (July 9th to 11th). Warnemünder Woche Cup added up.

505 IDM Day 1

The team of helmsman Wolfgang Hunger and foreman Holger Jess lived up to their role as favorites at the start of the International German 505cc Championship and leads the field of 40 505cc. The series winners finished all three races completed today in first place. Jan-Philipp Hoffmann and Felix Brockerhoff from the Düsseldorf Yacht Club follow in second place with a second, a third and a fifth place. Lena Stückel and Johannes Tellen from the German Touring Yacht Club are in third place.

Race director Svenja Herziger was satisfied with the day: “We got through three nice races, with a stable westerly wind. As the day progressed, the wind weakened somewhat.” At least four races are required to achieve German championship status.

There are three more races scheduled for tomorrow. First start is at 11:30 a.m. The International German 505 Championship runs until Tuesday.

H-boats day 1

The 17 H-boats that came to Warnemünde for their ranking regatta were able to complete their three planned races today. German champion Holger Köhne secured the lead on the first day with two first places and one fifth place. There are two races on the program for tomorrow. The first start is scheduled for 11 a.m.
