ILCA / Laser Europa Cup: Büsselberg triumphs in the Laser Radial
The three ILCA / Laser classes were able to complete eight races on four racing days. The last day once again brought the best sailing conditions for the 171 starters.

Julia Büsselberg is in the class ILCA 6/ Laser Radial won the overall ranking against their 76 competitors. Until the last day of the ILCA / Laser Europa Cup Warnemünde, it seemed as if victory could hardly be taken away from her after she had already won eight races. But an early start in the first race of the last day allowed Ole Schweckendiek from Kiel to come within one point of the 21-year-old in the final result. Third place went to Anna Munch from Denmark.
Johan Schubert won the ILCA / Laser Europa Cup Warnemünde in ILCA 7 / Laser Standard clearly won. After a total of eight races sailed, the Dane has a lead of 16 points over second place, Jakub Halouzka from the Czech Republic. Third place goes to Martis Pjararskas from Lithuania. Leonoard Stock from the North German Regatta Club from Hamburg came fourth and is therefore the best German. Last year's winner Lennart Kuss from the Warnemünder Sailing Club came seventh. A total of 33 ILCA 7 / Laser Standard were at the start.

In the class ILCA 4 /Laser 4.7 The Dutchman Max Frank won the European Cup Warnemünde, followed by the Dutchman Annemijn Algra. Brecht Zwanepoel from Belgium follows in third place. The best German was Batbold Gruner from Zwischenahner Segelklub, who won the Laser Europa Cup Warnemünde in 2020 in the ILCA 4 / Laser 4.7.
