Planning for the 83rd WARNEMÜNDER WEEK is underway. The sailing program includes many highlights such as world and European championships.
Warnemünder Woche knows that the sporting program in one of the best areas in Europe is always very diverse. And that is exactly what sets the event apart. Competitive athletes in the hunt for top placings and championship titles enjoy coming to the mouth of the Warnow just as much as ambitious recreational sailors who value social interaction with like-minded people and the area. Of course, it can happen that, for example, popular social events have to fall by the wayside due to corona if the official requirements require this. A look at this year’s sporting program definitely suggests high-quality regattas.” The Contender World Championship, the European Seascape/First 18 Championship, the Laser European Cup or the German 505, J/70 and Pirate Championships, or the long-distance classic Rund Bornholm with the long-distance for the German Sea Sailing Championship for double- Handed boats (www.idm-seesegeln.com) and the various ranking regattas promise great sailing cinema.
