The organizers of the WARNEMÜNDER WOCHE are offering the first time an exclusive view of the racing scene in Warnemünde. Take a sailors breakfast at the Warnemünder Segel-Club, board to a nice tugboat and view racing live at the courses. Get impressed at the start and on spectacular manoeuvres! Listen to the comments of a well-versed sailor, who always stays in contact with the race committees.
Your personal guide gives you a review of racing courses, tactics, techniques and more. Have a look on competitors rigging their boats and the flurry while leaving or returning to the harbour!
Equipped with the official T-shirt, base-cap and pin of the WARNEMÜNDER WOCHE you will watch closely the sailor’s activities. Feel waves, wind, action – be enamoured by our sailing sport!

Facts
Duration: approx. 4 hrs, at least 2 hrs aboard the tugboat, in the forenoon or in the afternoon.

Weather conditions: If races are to be sailed, the tugboat will leave the harbour, except when the wind speed exceeds 5 Bf. a two-masted ship will be used.

Dressing: weatherproof, anti-skid footwear; life vests are available.

Participation: Max 20 persons, Regatta-guide and helmsman excluded. Children under 18 shall be accompanied by an adult.

• 08.30 h Meeting at “Seglerheim ‘Uns Logis‘“, Regattagelände Yachthafen Mittelmole
• 08.45 h Weather briefing together with sailors
• 09.00 h Sailors breakfast at ‘Uns Logis’, introduction to regatta racing, handout of T-shirt, cap and pin
• 10.00 h Watching the boat rigging and the outgoing boats from the terrace.
• 10.30 h Boarding and departure to the racing areas, together with a free regatta drink
• 12.30 h Return to the Yachthafen Warnemünde

Schedule afternoon:
• 12.30 h Meeting at “Seglerheim ‘Uns Logis‘“, Regattagelände Yachthafen Mittelmole, Sailors Lunch, introduction to regatta racing, handout of T-shirt, cap and pin
• 13.30 h Boarding and departure to the racing areas, together with a free regatta drink
• 15.45 h Return to the Yachthafen Warnemünde
• 16.00 h Watching the return of the regatta competitors from the terrace. Enjoy coffee, cake, and a glass of sparkling wine, or alternatively smoked fish and a bottle of “Rostocker Pils” beer.
• 16.30 h Prize giving ceremony (on last racing days)
